In its early years, Rosh Pinna struggled financially until Baron Edmond de Rothschild stepped in. The Baron developed infrastructure, sent administrators, and introduced agriculture such as olives, vineyards, and silkworms.
Today, the National Restoration Site in the old town allows visitors to walk among historic stone buildings, the Baron's Administration Building, and the classic gardens, reliving the spirit of that historic era.
